Founded in August 2006 , the Workforce Development Global Alliance (WDGA) is an innovative non-profit organization that equips opportunity youth, ages 13-25 years, with the essential tools needed to cultivate peaceful relationships and succeed in today’s workforce. Its signature program called 2Steps2Work empowers youth to get along and get ahead.
Since its inception, WDGA has been inspiring Kenyan Youth to remain committed to their education by illuminating the connections between the classroom and the workroom, and exposing youth to a variety of career opportunities. Career-day internship experiences and related activities have enabled youth to envision hope where they live, resulting in improved academic performance and ultimately economic self-sufficiency.
In 2011, WDGA expanded to Homestead, PA, USA delivering its signature program back to the local community where we are now “Local to Global”
