The Workforce Development Global Alliance (WDGA) is an innovative non-profit organization that equips disadvantaged youth, ages 13-25 years, with the essential tools needed to cultivate peaceful relationships and succeed in today’s workforce. Since 2011, WDGA has been inspiring opportunity youth in the USA and Kenya to remain committed to their education by illuminating the connections between the classroom and the workroom, and exposing youth to a variety of career opportunities. Career-day internship experiences and related activities have enabled youth to envision hope where they live, resulting in improved academic performance and ultimately economic self-sufficiency.
